Business Expansion Results, 1H24 Profit of ROTI Grows by 22%

Jakarta, July 19, 2024 - PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk (stock code: ROTI), the first and largest mass bread producer in Indonesia with the brands “Sari Roti”, “Sari Kue”, and “Sari Choco”, today submitted its Interim Consolidated Financial Report as of June 30, 2024, to OJK and the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

The Company recorded an excellent performance in the first half of 2024 with Sales reaching Rp1.92 trillion, an increase of 5.5% YoY. The Net Profit attributable to the Owners of the Parent Entity reached IDR 145 billion, which grew by 22% compared to the same period last year.

Sales from the Central region reached Rp1.01 trillion and remained the largest contributor to the Company's business. However, it is noteworthy that Sales in the Western and Eastern regions reached Rp909 billion, achieving a higher growth rate of 12.2% YoY. This aligns with the Company's business expansion strategy by building factories in Batam, Gresik, Balikpapan, and Banjarmasin. Additionally, the expansion of distribution channels in both modern and traditional markets, through the addition of more than 93,000 sales points across Indonesia, supported this growth.

To meet the growing demand for bread and cake products, the Company will increase its production capacity by completing the construction of its 15th plant in Pekanbaru, which is targeted to be operational by the end of 2024.
